The NPCC proudly presents as its special guest on Friday December 11th, award-winning author and experienced chess coach International Master Igor Khmelnitsky.
Spectators may attend Igor's lecture free of charge. Those wishing to play against him in a simul. pay only $15.00. (How often you get to see how many moves you can last against an International Master?)

Congratulations are in order to Nigel Mitchell, who successfully defended his title in the 2nd Annual NPCC Touch-move Blitz (a.k.a. Speed Chess or Five Minute) competition last Friday. No three game play-off was necessary this year as Nigel emerged with a near perfect score against a tough field.
