FAQ:
Q. What do I need to bring? Bring your USCF membership card, a tournament sized chess set and board, a chess clock, a writing instrument, and a lunch or at least a snack. Score sheets will be provided at site.
Q. How long will the tournament take? Plan on a fairly long day. If you are playing in the 3 round Saturday (game in 45} section expect the final round to begin no sooner than 12:30.
Q. What is the daily schedule? When should I arrive? How soon can I expect to finish?
A. Whether you have mailed in your Entry Form in advance or are registering at the door, please arrive
between 8:45AM and 9:00AM. Players who arrive late for registration may be given a first round
bye at the Tournament Director's discretion !
After the Tournament Director has reviewed the USCF rules ("touch move". delay-timer clocks. etc. ) the first round will begin. This will probably be around 9:15AM.
The schedule is as follows:
* Round 1 9:15AM - 10:45AM
* Round 2 10:45AM - 12:15PM
* Round 3 12:15Pm - 1:45PM
